Bartlett Maritime Featured at the Propeller Club Maritime Day Celebration
Cleveland, OH May 31, 2022. Bartlett Maritime Corporation is pleased to announce that it’s Bartlett Maritime PlanTM to add urgently capacity and capability to the US Navy’s Naval Shipyard industrial enterprise was featured during the annual Propeller Club Maritime Day Celebration event held at the Union Club on May 26, 2022. During the discussion, the importance of the Merchant Marine to the nation’s economic security and prosperity was emphasized, as well as how the Merchant Marine and the Navy intersect and work together in support of essential national security.
The Propeller Club is comprised of members which represent a cross section of the maritime industry throughout the United States and in many cities overseas. It is well equipped to promote, further and support the merchant marine. “Propeller” in the name refers to the propulsion of ships and is symbolic of the driving force required to communicate the need for an adequate, privately-owned merchant marine for both overseas and domestic commerce. Today, the International Propeller Club of the United States is an international business network dedicated to the promotion of the maritime industry, commerce, and global trade. There are more than 80 Ports in maritime locations around the world, including almost 30 in foreign cities.
